G8RSkinTM PPE is a flexible protective device that reduces the risk of concussion and prevents neck injuries by using the energy of collisions to help stabilize the neck and reduce the acceleration of the head.
G8RSkinTM PPE includes a built in pocket to store gel packets on the back of the neck to help keep athletes cool, perforation over the ears so athlete’s hearing is not impaired, holes along the back of the head for athletes with long hair, as well as a front closure that allows athletes to wear G8RSkinTM PPE like a hood.

G8RTechTM, LLC (“G8RTech”), warrants that the G8RSkinTM balaclava, when used, handled, maintained, and worn strictly in accordance with the included use and care instructions, will be substantially free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of three months from the purchase date. Products returned to G8RTech and confirmed by us to be defective during the limited warranty period will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at G8RTech’s option.
THIS STATES G8RTECH’S SOLE OBLIGATION, AND THE USER’S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY RELATED TO THE G8RSKINTM BALACLAVA. THIS REMEDY IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE CAUSED BY ALTERATION, MISUSE, MISHANDLING, OR ACCIDENT. G8RTECH DOES NOT WARRANT OR GIVE ANY ASSURANCES THAT THE G8RSKINTM BALACLAVA WILL PROTECT AGAINST ALL OR ANY INJURIES, OR WILL DIMINISH THE TYPE OR SEVERITY OF INJURIES BY ANY DEGREE. EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED WARRANTY DESCRIBED ABOVE, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, G8RTECH EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. The information regarding the G8RSkinTM balaclava’s protective benefits represent data obtained from third party laboratory testing of pre-production prototype units, and not from field testing of the final product on actual users. This information does not give assurance of any level of performance, protection, or benefit offered by the G8RSkinTM balaclava. G8RTech does not represent or warrant that the information is complete, accurate, or current, and reserves the right to delete, update, and modify such information at any time without prior notice.
No impact protection system can protect a user from all injuries. In all events the user assumes all risks, including all risks of bodily injury, death, and loss of or damage to property, arising from the user’s participation in athletic, recreational and any other activities while wearing the G8RSkinTM balaclava. The G8RSkinTM balaclava is not a substitute for and must not replace the protective gear, such as helmets, shoulder pads, and restraints, associated with the specific activity engaged in by the user. The G8RSkinTM balaclava is intended to supplement and to be used in conjunction with standard protective gear.
To maximize the benefits of the G8RSkinTM balaclava, proper fit and care of the G8RSkinTM balaclava in combination with other standard protective gear are essential. This includes proper wearing and securing of the correct size of G8RSkinTM balaclava on the head and shoulders, washing the G8RSkinTM balaclava in cold water only using a mild detergent without bleach, and air or tumble drying at temperatures below 120°F (48.9°C). Do not expose the G8RSkinTM balaclava to temperatures above 120°F (48.9°C) or below -25°F (-31.6°C). Users are advised to read and follow all of the other important instructions contained with the product. Warning: failure to abide by the instructions provided with the G8RSkinTM balaclava could reduce the performance of the product and void the limited product warranty.
